1st International Insolvancy and Banking Law Conference, London and Oxford University, February 2015

The Conference was organized by Conference Director Adv Shay Milow for the Tel Aviv and Central District Israel Bar Association. Notable judges and distinguish professors, barristers and lawyers from UK and Israel attended the conference. We were deeply pleased that the Rt. Hon. the Lord Collins of Mapesbury agreed to chair our plenary panel and deeply honored that the Rt. Hon. Dr Danziger, justice to the Supreme Court of Israel, The Honorable Vice President Judge Orenstein Head of the Bankruptcy Division of the Tel Aviv District Court, and Judge Ailabouni of the Bankruptcy division of the Nazareth District Court, Prof D. Hahn, the Official Receiver of the State of Israel agreed to deliver their speeches and take part in our legal panels. The conference saw the participation of UK lawyers and some 80 Israeli lawyers. Adv Yaniv Insall moderated a panel on the topic “the Role of Good Faith in Insolvency Law.” Adv Shay Milow moderated a panel on the topic of “Directors and Officers’ Responsibilities in Insolvency Proceedings.”
